Our Group: A Community of Musicians and Sound Artists

Music Groups. There are probably tons of music groups on dA already, but most are inactive. So, here is another one, however, one which I hope to keep active.

This group's main aim will simply be to promote musicians on DeviantART, allowing them to link their music, random projects and even music-related artwork too (No matter what level of importance). It would be great to feature them, but maybe that's not a good idea. I'm not sure. Please let me know what you think.

Yes, i know...there is also a very nice forum about music, but what's the harm in making an account too? If this gets deleted, it gets deleted. If it fails, it will fail EPIKLY. No big deal.

So, lets see if we can create an active music community alongside dA's already awesome art community. I don't want it to be like myspace; on deviantART, you can recieve constructive feedback on your work, which is hopefully what this group can achieve too. Feel free to link your music or music sites on this page. So, get spamming!

Although we will continue to support and promote Music and Sound Art on DeviantART, we are now going to be featuring Lyricists and Music related Photography and Artwork!

The reason for this is so our group can integrate with the wider visual and literature art community of DeviantART. It may also provide oppurtunities for Musicians, Lyricists and Visual artists to collaborate on projects.

It might sound obvious, but music isn't just for musicians. Music provides great inspiration for many visual artists and creative writers. With this in mind, our group is altering its format slightly so that we can now include these aspects of music.

And of course, if you wish to join, simply watch our club and your music deviations and projects could be featured in various places around dA, including this very page! =allieluvskitties is already featuring musicians from this group on her journal, so please check it out and give your support if you are a fan of all things music related!
